Hey, when did the US add rocket rails to some F117’s and then sell them to China?

    WTF indeed..😂😂😂🤔

Obviously a static propaganda piece. The external ordinance ruins any stealth it has, as the ordinance will give a far greater radar return… especially from below. There’s a reason serious stealth aircraft ALL carry their ordinance internally.

I’m fairly sure this is not from the Zhuhai Airshow — the pavement, the background etc are all completely different to what Zhuhai airport looks like.
Not to mention even simple things like the ridiculous design of the aircraft, the fact that it has PLA roundels, and the shoddy nature of the barriers should have all immediately cast doubt whether it’s an actual exhibit at an arms show or air show (Chinese arms companies almost never put PLA roundels on products that do not have PLA backing or ones which are not in PLA service, meaning if a silly looking contraption does have PLA roundels, chances are it isn’t a real project or even from an arms company)

Out of interest, where did you get the picture from, and who claimed it was from the airshow?

The film reel on the left tells the story. It’s a promotion piece for a movie. That and it was shot on a downtown street from the traffic on the right.

The text near the tail reads (I think) “zhong ying guoji chuan” which translates to meaning “China Film International Media” ( http://www.cfi-sh.com/en/page.asp?ClassID=15 )

Its probably some marketing thing, outside of a cinema…

It’s a prop used for a dodgy b-reel action flick trying to copy Top Gun, and that’s certainly not displayed at Zhuhai.
